Hes here!

It has been so long since my last post. Now that my pregnancy is over I am feeling better and able to catch up on some long overdue updates. Jackson Samuel Shinn was born on October 27, 2009. He was 6 lbs 14 ounces. 21" long. He was born by C-section after a 15 hour non progressive labor at 8:39 pm. Besides being sleep deprived we are adjusting and loving it!

As you can see things have been changing around here at the Shinn house. Grandpa Jack came to visit and painted then put baby Shinns crib together. Grandpa Sam came over to help put dressers together. Baby is doing good, I just wish I could feel the wonderfulness of second trimester.. Being so sick has been very hard on me and Stephen too. I am still in shock some days don't think this is really happening but then I have that ball in front to remind me. Its very exciting and quite the journey.

In case we haven't told you, Shinn baby is due November 9th. I am 12 weeks now and everything is good with the baby.

Promotion

After months and months of hard work, and being in limbo about where my job was going since my supervisor is retirering I received a promotion. I am shifting job titles, responsibilities, and supervisor. It will be very, very different but exciting. I will be assisting the conference coordinator as her assistant for planning events within my company and working directly with our members. It will be weird but a new challenge. I will get to travel a lot more which should be fun.

It never ceases to amaze us how high this dog can jump! One of these days we will show you him jumping over Grandma and Grandpa's fence.

Meet Ringo and Daisy.

Daisy is my baby and Ringo is Stephen's and it's funny how similar their personalities are to ours.

Ringo loves to play and doesn't know when to stop- any guesses who that could be?

And Daisy is the queen of the house and only plays when SHE feels like it, and when she is done she will let you know.

These beautiful puppies are our babies and we love them.

Jana's B-Day Bash

I know it has been a while since my birthday, but I am still trying to learn how to use the blogger.

What a fun day. We had a 25 foot water slide and a snowcone machine. It was the best birthday party I have. As if I was 5 years old. For those that were there thanks for coming and for those that couldn't make it you missed one heck of a party!
